Independent distribution: FocusProof is distributed independently and is not notarized by Apple. macOS requires manual approval the first time you open it.

First launch

  1. Download FocusProof.
  2. Drag FocusProof to Applications.
  3. Try to open FocusProof.
  4. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  5. Click Open Anyway for FocusProof.
  6. Confirm Open.

Do not disable Gatekeeper globally or change system-wide security settings.

Privacy by default

Sessions stay on this Mac. FocusProof does not inspect page contents, full URLs, keystrokes, screenshots, or clipboard contents. Optional Chrome domain detail requires separate setup; app-level tracking remains useful without it.
